From a Single Idea to Thousands of Adventures
First Class Tours was born in 2015 out of a simple frustration: too many travelers were visiting Africa through a narrow lens — rushed itineraries, generic hotels, and little connection to the places they came to see. Our founder, David Habimana, had spent 8 years as a licensed safari guide, and he knew there was a better way.
Starting with just one Land Cruiser and a handful of trusted lodge partners, we began designing journeys the way locals would design them: slow, personal, deeply rooted in the communities and ecosystems that make Africa extraordinary.
Today, we work with over 200 lodges, 40 licensed guides, and travel partners across 12 African countries. But our core belief hasn't changed — every trip we design should feel like a story you'll want to tell for the rest of your life.
We're not a booking platform. We're not a mass tour operator. We're a team of storytellers, conservationists, and local experts who believe that travel — done right — has the power to transform both the traveler and the place they visit.
